We have our own in-house lab where Dr. Levens and our Lab Technician, construct custom appliances to fit our individual patient's needs. Unlike many Orthodontists, we develop most of our orthodontic appliances on site. This gives Dr. Levens complete control over the quality and precision of our appliances and allows us to be more timely in our delivery of custom appliances. Orthodontic appliances require specialized equipment for their manufacture. Levens Orthodontics lab has all of the latest equipment to provide precision appliances for our patients.

Our treatment rooms are set up for maximum patient comfort and maximum efficiency. If you are wearing braces you will be seen about every four to six weeks and we do everything we can to make your visits short and sweet. You will receive individual care from Dr. Levens and our staff. There are computers at each station integrated with our practice management software and imaging software. This allows precise tracking of your information, treatment charts, and appointments in a secure and confidential manner following all HIPPA privacy guidelines. We also take your safety very seriously and we go beyond all OSHA requirements in preventing any cross-contamination. Notice all of the disposable barriers that we use on the dental chairs and equipment and the foot controls to move the dental chairs. Even the cabinet drawers open without needing the touch of a gloved hand.

Everything that goes into your mouth is either heat sterilized, chemically sterilized, or used once, then thrown away. Instruments go into the heat sterilizer, plastics into a chemical bath, and the rest right into the trash or into a protected Sharp Items Container. Dr. Levens and our clinical staff wear protective clothing during all patient treatment. So you can always have complete confidence that we are protecting the health of our staff and our patients.

When you are ready to make your next appointment you will come out to the front desk. You can schedule your next appointment, make a payment, check on your insurance, and pick up a printed school or work excuse. Appointment cards, payment receipts, and school and work excuses are printed on the countertop computer so you can grab yours and be ready to go.

Also at our front desk you will be able to create your own personal patient log in password on our computer. This password enables our patients to log in to the patient section of this web site to check on appointments, insurance payments, and account balances. You can even make payments on your account balance from the convenience of your home. There is a lot of other great information about your treatment available through this web site including how to take care of braces and announcements about our patient appreciation parties. Since it is on a secure site and password protected the information is available only to you using your private password. You will also be able to communicate with our office via e-mail and to receive e-mail notices about upcoming appointments.
